Always a project or an adventure!
All Aboard Handyman didn’t start as a business idea.
It started as a way of doing things.
Growing up in West Michigan, I was always around tools, equipment, and projects. Whether it was fixing something that broke, fabricating something that didn’t exist yet, or improving something that could have been built better — I learned early on that quality matters.
Shortcuts show.
Craftsmanship lasts.
Over the years, I gained experience across multiple trades — carpentry, welding, mechanical work, demolition, marine detailing, and finish installation. I saw firsthand the difference between work that’s done quickly and work that’s done correctly.
When friends, neighbors, and people in the community kept asking for help with their projects, one thing became clear: there’s a difference between someone who can “get it done” and someone who takes pride in how it’s done.
That’s why All Aboard Handyman was built around one simple principle:
Choose quality over convenience.
Whether it’s building a custom deck with properly sourced lumber, fabricating welded railings on-site for a precise fit, restoring a boat’s finish, or preparing a space carefully during demolition — the goal is always the same: do it right the first time.
I don’t believe in smash-and-trash demo.
I don’t believe in warped lumber from big box stores.
I don’t believe in cutting corners you can’t see.
I believe in building things that hold up.
In materials that last.
In details that matter.
West Michigan weather is tough. Water is tough. Time is tough.
If something is going to survive here, it needs to be built with intention.
All Aboard Handyman serves homeowners, property owners, and boat owners throughout West Michigan who care about quality and want their investment protected.
At the end of every job, I want both of us to be able to step back, look at the finished product, and say:
“That’s not going anywhere.”
